Special Care Program

At Equinox Terrace, it is our mission to provide a gracious, dignified and secure residential environment for residents who may have Alzheimer's, dementia or other forms of memory loss or require more care than our traditional suites or apartments provide.

Together, with each resident and family, we review the resident's history, needs and interest in an effort to tailor a care plan for that resident that will allow them to retain as much independence as possible.

The Special Care Unit at Equinox Terrace is fully secured and is staffed by a dedicated team of medical professionals at a higher staff to resident ratio to allow for the higher care needs of the residents.

Residents of the Special Care Unit have their own dining and activity areas within the unit.
